Mission Statement
"To serve as the voice of the business community and maintain information flow for the Chamber members regarding Legislative issues and local issues possibly affecting their business."

Your Chamber depends on its Advocacy Committee to render a voice on behalf of business in Hernando County. This often includes a wide range of issues dealing with taxes, regulations, and working with state government departments to help fulfill our mission statement.

The committee is comprised of the membership at large that are involved in the community. The committee meets monthly at the Chamber headquarters, and recommends statements and positions for the Chamber Board to adopt. Often seen at government meetings, members of the Advocacy Committee are actively seeking input and information that will help the Chamber to inform on how to help our business membership.
