The adjoining Buccaneer Bay brings summer alive with waterslides, music and children's play pools. The Withlacoochee River and the Chassahowitzka River are great spots for canoeing. Take on the 6,000-acre tract of the Weeki Wachee Preserve in a day of hiking, biking, canoeing or kayaking. This Preserve includes miles of the Weeki Wachee River, portions of the Mud River, and seven deep-water rock quarry lakes for fresh and saltwater fishing.
